Brats Brothers

I stopped by on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. There aren't many tables and it was freezing outside so I had to opt for the to-go option. This wasn't ideal, but you can't fault a restaurant for being busy or for the weather. I ordered the Hungarian as the man behind the counter told me he was out of many of the more exotic choices. For $10 I walked out with a huge sausage sticking out of both ends of a nice crusty roll, two sides and a drink.

The Hungarian had a nice strong spicy taste, very bold and short of overwhelming on the heat. This was just what I needed. The fries were lightly seasoned and crisp enough to have not suffered from the drive home. The tater tots are golf ball-sized with Swiss cheese and bacon bits inside.

The atmosphere here is pretty bachelor, but it was a nice departure from the more pretentious scene at Wurstekuche that I'd taken in stride.

I am excited to go back and try some of the other sausages on the menu here.
